Saving Posts from the Fediverse

notado.substack.com

The past two weeks have seen a huge wave of users joining the Fediverse for the first time, driven by an ongoing exodus from Twitter to Mastodon.

If you are one of those users, you’ll be happy to know that saving a post from any Mastodon instance to your Notado account is just as easy as saving a Tweet!

After a little hacking with the #mastodon API, it's now possible to save public statuses to notado.app both on iOS (via the share sheet) and on desktop (via the browser ext) using status permalinks! 🎉 #followfriday

It doesn’t matter which Mastodon instance you are registered on, or which Mastodon instance the post you want to save originates from.

Just right click (in your browser) or share (on iOS) the permalink to save it to your account as you would a Tweet or any other comment from a website supported by Notado.
